HAMBURG – Razer™, one of the world’s pioneering supporters of eSports, today announced a new partnership with SK Telecom T1 (SKT-T1) that welcomes the professional eSports team into the Team Razer elite ranks.

SKT-T1, one of the world’s most revered League of Legends teams, joins an already world-class lineup at Team Razer League of Legends that includes KTRolster, Najin e-mFire, LGD, Team Liquid, Counter Logic Gaming, Unicorns of Love, PaiN Gaming, Turquality, Atlas, and Furious Gaming.

SKT-T1 includes among its list of iconic figures 19-year-old Lee “Faker” Sang-Hyeok, widely considered to be the greatest League of Legends player of all time. He has been described as “The Michael Jordan of eSports” by RIOT Vice President of eSports Dustin Beck. Faker commands the attention of thousands of adoring fans around the world and has recently been featured on the national news in Korea showcasing the extent of this fame.

SKT-T1 has been a force in the League of Legends community for some time now, winning $1,000,000 at the Season 3 World Championship, which was viewed by some 32 million individuals around the world, 8 million concurrently. More recently, SKT-T1 took second place at the 2015 Mid-Season Invitational after qualifying as winners of the Champions Spring 2015 season in South Korea, crushing GE Tigers 3-0.
