Das französische Hardware-Magazin „CANARD PC HARDWARE“ hat offensichtlich bestätigt, dass AMDs anstehende Ryzen-Chips in der Lage sein werden, auf mindestens 5 GHz unter Luft, Übertaktet werden können. Auf Seite 10 des Magazins, befindet sich eine kryptische Zeichenfolge von binärem Code (als Referenz ist die Zeichenfolge wie folgt: 01011010011000101010111001001111010 00011010000000100000101101001011100 10001111010011010101000111 ). Wenn man den Code nun durch einen Übersetzer jagt, erfährt man, dass die CPU offenbar Taktraten von bis zu 5 GHz in dessen Test erreicht haben soll.
